The triathlon party mile at Speck was for the fourth time one of the hot spots of the DATEV-Challenge run course.

The triathlon party mile at Speck was for the fourth time one of the hot spots of the DATEV-Challenge run course. On the first weekend of July, Roth was the home of the triathletes and fans from all over the world for the 35th time.

3400 triathletes from 76 different countries, thereunder 650 relays were faced up to 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling and 42.195 km of running. After this year's change of the run course, the athletes crossed the company site of Speck twice now.

As in the last three years, the party mile at Speck offered atmosphere, fun and culinary treats for young and old. Our little visitors could try out their sporting skills at our playground and amused theirselves in the bouncy castle. For the first time this year, the AOK was represented with a stand offering the possibility of free health check-ups.

Furthermore, the repeated challenge participant and Speck employee Torsten Hahn provided the spectators with news about the competition and heated up the mood with the best rock and pop hits.

This year's DATEV-Challenge was once again an unforgettable experience for all those who were involved – for the athletes, the volunteers and the fans as well.
